The 2018 Virginia Topology Conference will have a focus on new methods in the study of smooth topology of 4-dimensional manifolds, recent developments in Heegaard Floer theory, gauge theory, and related invariants, and the interactions between these fields.

Funds are available to support travel and local expenses for participants; priority will be given to graduate students and recent Ph.D.s (note that we cannot support international travel). At this time all available funding has been allocated. Conference registration is open; if you wish to request funding on a "standby" basis you may submit the request with your registration form.
