I am currently a post-doc and visiting professor at the University of Virginia. In collaboration with Butch Brodie, I am exploring the process of social selection in the forked fungus beetle (Bolitotherus cornutus). Specifically, I am investigating if the addition of social selection models further improve our understanding of the selective processes at work in this species. As part of this work, we are also venturing into the world of animal social networks to determine their role in phenotypic evolution.

A word cloud of our latest funded grant from the National Science Foundation. I think it sums up my current research nicely.
